Overview

Join to apply for the Sales Representative role at Northern Tool + Equipment.

As a Part-Time Sales Representative you will greet and assist customers, maintain a neat and stocked merchandise area, keep the sales floor organized and clean, promote the Northern Tool credit card program, and support the management team with day-to-day store merchandise and operations directions. Our mission is to serve tradespeople and weekend warriors with the right tools and a hassle-free experience in our stores.

Responsibilities

• Create a one-stop shopping experience with exceptional customer service; ask probing questions to better understand the customer’s needs.
• Greet customers throughout the store, assist with product selection, merchandising aisles and endcaps, and position merchandise appropriately.
• Offer Protection Plans on eligible products and promote our credit card on customer transactions (incentive pay for selling protection plans and credit cards).
• Be a team player by assisting with tasks that improve the way the team serves customers.

What you will bring to the table

• Prior retail sales, cashier or customer service experience is admired, but not required.
• Flexible availability and willingness to work some weekends and holidays as needed.
• A love of tools & equipment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs.
