Job summary

Moon Valley Nurseries in Texas is seeking a results-driven Sales Representative who thrives in a fast-paced environment, closes deals confidently, and delivers outstanding customer service. You will present our value proposition, discuss designs, and guide customers through the purchasing process, from first contact to final sale.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of commission-based sales experience, a professional demeanor, and the ability to work outdoors in varied weather.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of successful commission-based sales experience.
• Able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Represent the company in a courteous and professional manner.
• Good organizational skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Ability to work outdoors.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service throughout the customer’s experience.
• Communicate effectively in-person & over the phone to discover the customer’s wants and needs.
• Sell and close a customer based on their wants and needs.
• Facilitate steps of the sale, including value proposition and design discussions.
• Maintain knowledge of products and recommend them to customers.
• Navigate and use computer programs as selling tools.
• Seek opportunities for self-development and training; welcome feedback.
• Build and maintain strong relationships and demonstrate teamwork.
