A leading automotive parts retailer in Huntersville, NC is seeking a Salesperson to support the DIY business by achieving sales and service objectives. The role requires good knowledge of store systems and basic automotive knowledge, with the potential for part-time or full-time work. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, maintaining inventory, and delivering parts. Ideal candidates should have strong communication skills and be able to work varied hours.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); effectively communicate and build relationships.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions.
• Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.

Skills

Basic driving and navigation ability

Friendly communication

Parts and automotive system knowledge skills

Operating POS and parts lookup systems

Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
