Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Wichita, KS is seeking a part-time Sales Outfitter - Firearms to assist customers at the gun counter and provide exemplary service. You will greet customers, assess needs, explain firearm and ammunition products, and guide purchase decisions in compliance with regulations.

You will maintain product knowledge, promote CLUB memberships, handle checks and 4473 forms, and keep the gun counter organized and properly stocked.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with Firearms and Ammunition.
• Knowledge of ATF Federal and State Regulations (GCA).
• Customer Service and Sales of Firearms and Ammunition.
• Ability to Merchandise and Stock Merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate customers’ needs and make product recommendations.
• Promote programs including CLUB membership and in-store pickup.
• Ensure 4473 forms are completed thoroughly and accurately.
• Maintain gun counter merchandise and organize store displays.
• Keep pricing and signage up to date and accurate; stay aware of advertised sales.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves and maintain a clean, well-stocked area.

They perform various selling/customer service activities, to include greeting and acknowledging all customers in a prompt and friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, providing information, assistance and direction to customers.***ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**** Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
