Job summary

Penske is offering an entry-level Sales and Operations Management Trainee position in Erlanger, KY. You will apply your bachelor’s degree to run a business, solve problems for customers, and learn Penske’s sales processes, technology, and culture through comprehensive training and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferred concentration in Business or Marketing.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Internship or related work experience in a customer facing role preferred.
• Results oriented, attention to detail and good time management skills.
• A valid driver’s license is required and ability to drive Penske vehicles, including a 26’ box truck.
• DOT-regulated position; driver qualification file maintenance, MVR checks, DOT Physical, and safety history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop consumer and commercial customer solutions for local and national accounts.
• Manage large vehicle inventory, balancing fleet productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Generate new business leads and foster existing customer relationships.
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
