Job summary

Darling Ingredients Inc. is seeking a Sales Process/Operations Manager to supervise the sales admin team and optimize workflows. You will provide training, coach the team, and implement new processes or software to enhance productivity.

In this role you will collaborate with Accounting, Operations, Marketing, QA, Transportation and IT to ensure alignment and efficient operations while preparing period-end reports and sales analyses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years in sales administration; 1–2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• 3+ years in customer service.
• Superior knowledge of Oracle and Office 365, with emphasis on Excel pivot tables.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of sales administrators.
• Develop and implement workflow processes for sales optimization.

Job Summary

The Sales Process/Operations Manager manages administrative functions of the sales team as directed by the VP of Protein Sales, focusing on optimizing the sales process, improving team productivity, and ensuring the sales team has the tools and resources needed to succeed.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of dedicated sales administrators.
• Develop and implement workflow processes for sales optimization.
• Provide support to the sales team through training, coaching, onboarding, and new process or software implementation.
• Collaborate with other departments (Accounting, Operations, Marketing, QA, Transportation, IT) to ensure alignment and efficiency.
  • Work with teams to identify and resolve any challenges that may impact business.
• Work with leadership and accounting on period‑end reports, account cleanup, etc.
• Work with sales leadership to develop sales analysis and generate sales reporting.
• Ensure data integrity within sales systems.
• Collaborate across departments to select, test, and implement processes and software.
• Explore new technologies that could advance the sales organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Five or more years of experience in sales administration; one to two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Three or more years in customer service.
• Superior knowledge of Oracle and Office 365 Applications, with emphasis on Excel pivot tables.
