Job summary

Omatic is seeking an inaugural Sales Operations professional to establish the data, tooling, and processes that power a growing GTM team. You will own data quality, governance across Salesforce, and territory models, partnering with Sales leadership and Enablement to keep data clean and actionable.

You will implement scalable systems, dashboards, and templates, drive adoption of the sales process, and support onboarding for AEs and SDRs, focusing on accuracy, speed, and insights.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years in sales, sales operations, revenue operations, analytics, or similar.
  • Experience using Salesforce as the primary CRM in a B2B sales organization; admin cert is a plus, not required.
  • Experience with modern go‑to‑market tooling: one or more prospecting/enrichment platforms and a sales engagement platform.
  • You use AI as a working tool to clean data, draft docs, or automate repetitive tasks, with awareness of limitations.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills: lookups, pivots, and handling tens of thousands of rows with precision.
  • Clear written communication; able to explain changes concisely.
  • Attention to detail; accuracy matters, especially with AI-assisted outputs.

Responsibilities

  • Own data quality and governance across GTM systems in Salesforce and related tools.
  • Identify bottlenecks in processes; fix, automate, or define requirements for the Salesforce architect.
  • Drive adoption of sales processes and tooling; measure, report, and close gaps with leadership.
  • Maintain opportunity and stage data quality; surface exceptions to managers for trustworthy forecasts.
  • Build and maintain templates, templates, and reference material for Enablement and onboarding.
  • Provide adoption and performance data behind training: tool usage, plays, and coaching impact.
  • Scale prospecting and outbound infrastructure; administer stack and reusable list templates.
  • Build dashboards/reports for pipeline, coverage, velocity, and territory performance; support KPI cycles.

Job description

We are growing our Operations team. This role exists to make the sales organization and SDRs measurably more productive by improving the systems behind it — data quality, process, tooling, and reporting — rather than absorbing the manual work those systems should eliminate. You will work in close partnership with our sales leadership team and the SDR / Enablement Lead, supporting our training and onboarding programs with the data, systems, and reporting that make them work.

It is the first dedicated Sales Operations role at Omatic, which means you will build the function rather than inherit it, working alongside a hands‑on VP of Revenue Operations and an experienced Salesforce architect. You will own real systems, and the scope of the role grows with what you build.

What You'll Do:
Own data quality and governance across our Go-to-Market systems
  • Own the accuracy, completeness, and structure of Salesforce account and contact data, including the segmentation that drives our targeting — organization type, size, and the fundraising systems each nonprofit already runs.
  • Build enrichment and validation into a repeatable process, so data quality is maintained by design rather than by cleanup.
  • Partner with Marketing and our Salesforce architect to keep account, contact, and activity data consistent across the systems that Sales, SDRs, and reporting all depend on.
  • Own the Salesforce territory model — account ownership, territory assignments, and the analysis behind how territories are distributed and rebalanced as the team grows — and keep Sales and the SDR team working from the same view of who owns what.
Improve how the sales organization operates
  • Identify where AEs lose time or where process breaks down, then fix it, automate it, or write the requirement for our Salesforce architect.
  • Drive adoption of our sales process and tooling — measure it, report on it, and work with sales leaders to close the gaps.
  • Maintain opportunity and stage data quality, surfacing exceptions to managers so the forecast can be trusted.
Support enablement and onboarding
  • Build and maintain the systems, templates, and reference material the team is trained on, so what a rep learns in a session is what they find in the tools the next morning.
  • Give Enablement the adoption and performance data behind the training — who is using which tools and plays, what is working, and where coaching will have the most impact.
  • Help new AEs and SDRs reach productivity faster by owning the tooling, data access, and templates in their onboarding.
Scale the prospecting and outbound infrastructure
  • Administer the prospecting and sales engagement stack, and build the reusable list templates and sequence library that let any AE or SDR self‑serve in minutes rather than starting from scratch.
  • Run start‑of‑quarter working sessions with Enablement where AEs and SDRs build their own outbound from that library.
Build reporting that drives decisions
  • Develop dashboards and reporting that let sales leaders make faster, better‑informed decisions on pipeline, coverage, velocity, and territory performance.
  • Support the VP of Rev Ops with monthly KPI and forecast cycle to definitions that hold up under scrutiny from Finance and our board.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Roughly 2–4 years in sales, sales operations, revenue operations, sales analytics, or a comparable analytical role — or a track record that clearly demonstrates the skills below.
  • Experience using Salesforce as the primary CRM in a B2B sales organization, including reporting, dashboards, data management, list views, imports, and process support. Admin certification is a plus, not a requirement.
  • Experience with modern go‑to‑market tooling — one or more prospecting or enrichment platforms (Apollo, ZoomInfo, Clay) and a sales engagement platform (Gong Engage, Outreach, Salesloft).
  • You use AI as a working tool, not a novelty. You have used Claude or similar to clean and reconcile data, draft documentation, or automate work you would otherwise do by hand, and you know where it is reliable and where it is not.
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets: lookups, pivots, and the discipline to work through tens of thousands of rows without introducing errors.
  • Clear written communication. You can explain to a busy AE what changed and why it matters, in two sentences.
  • Real attention to detail. A number that is nearly right is wrong — and that applies to anything AI hands you. We believe AI should augment strong operators, not substitute for critical thinking.
Bonus Points:
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, particularly a high‑volume sales motion with many accounts.
  • Familiarity with the nonprofit sector or the technology it runs on.
  • Experience building AI‑assisted workflows that other people then used — prompts, agents, or documented processes, not just one‑off queries.
  • Experience partnering with enablement teams on content, documentation, or internal training.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
Who Thrives at Omatic:
  • You would rather spend a day building something twenty people use than an hour doing a task for one.
  • You are curious about why a number moved, not just what it is.
  • You are comfortable telling a salesperson there is a better way to do what they just asked for — and then showing them.
  • You reach for AI to do things you could not otherwise get to, and you verify its work the same way you would verify your own.
  • You explain things in a way that sticks. People leave the conversation able to do it themselves.
