Job summary

Würth Industry USA is seeking a Sales Operations Manager to drive sales strategy and enablement. You will empower the sales team with tools, training, and data-driven insights to improve productivity and achieve revenue growth.

The role partners with sales leadership, marketing, and product teams to refine processes, implement training, and lead a large, high-performance department in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business-related field.
  • 5+ years in a sales-related role with at least 2 years in sales operations or enablement.
  • Experience developing and executing sales enablement strategies.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory reports.
  • Lead E&O inventory prevention and resolution initiatives.
  • Manage internal scrap process and reporting.
  • Create and track KPIs for Sales and the Sales Operations team.
  • Manage customer surcharge calculations and processes.
  • Conduct customer potential analysis.
  • Collaborate with BI team on Sales KPIs/Dashboards and related needs.
  • Manage CRM software including training, reporting, and optimization.
  • Lead and direct work of a functional team, including hiring, performance reviews, budget and processes.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment aligned with Würth principles.
  • Implement training programs including new employee onboarding.
  • Manage workforce planning, staffing, and labor relations.

Position Summary

The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for developing and executing a strategy that enables the sales team with the tools, training, and resources needed to succeed. This role focuses on improving sales effectiveness, tracking performance metrics, and aligning the sales process with organizational goals. The manager collaborates closely with sales leadership, marketing, and product teams to drive sales productivity and support revenue growth.

  • Create and manage Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory reports
  • Lead Excess & Obsolete inventory prevention and resolution initiatives
  • Manage internal scrap process and reporting
  • Create and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Sales and the Sales Operations team.
  • Manage customer surcharge calculations and processes.
  • Conduct customer potential analysis.
  • Manage relationship and projects with BI team as it relates to Sales Operations, Sales KPI/Dashboards, and other sales related needs.
  • Manage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, including training, reporting, and optimization.
  • Manages and Directs work of functional team, including hiring, corrective action, performance appraisals and pay review, budget and processes.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a large team, manage performance, and foster a collaborative and productive work environment in accordance to Wurth basic principles.
  • Implement training programs to ensure staff are equipped with necessary skills and knowledge, including new employee onboarding.
  • Manage workforce planning, staffing, and labor relations to meet operational requirements.
  • Use data-driven insights to support decision-making and process refinement.
  • Foster a culture of learning and innovation within the sales team.
  • Drive adoption of new processes, tools, and methodologies to improve overall sales effectiveness.
  • Scale programs across teams and regions to ensure consistent support and success.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Education, Qualifications, Skills & Abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales-related role, with at least 2 years of experience in a sales operations or enablement capacity.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing sales enablement strategies.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Organizational skills to ensure good time management and timely progression through projects.
  • Ability to prioritize duties and manage work requests coming from various sources.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work products.
  • Knowledge of SAP a plus.
  • Sales and customer service (internal/external) focus.
  • Understands big picture company goals and how they are supported by individual success.
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm.
  • Strong work ethic and drive for success.
  • Strong orientation towards teamwork and flexibility towards changing business needs.
