Carter’s is seeking a Part Time Sales Manager to be the first face of the brand for growing families. You’ll lead by example, coaching a team, growing product knowledge, and delivering exceptional customer experiences on the sales floor.

Responsibilities include maintaining a welcoming environment, executing business focus areas, and supporting asset protection and safety. A high school diploma or GED is expected; availability for varied hours is required.

• Become a product and brand expert for Carter’s to help families navigate from preemie to size 14.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Maintain a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Coaching others to success while modeling service standards and omni-channel experience.
• Lead and execute assigned business focus area through planning and follow-through.
• Perform Leader on Duty supervisor responsibilities driving results and addressing customer concerns.
• Use customer feedback to identify opportunities and drive results.
• Build customer loyalty through Company-sponsored programs, including credit.
• Provide consistent feedback to store team and raise performance concerns when needed.
• Recognize exceptional performance and show appreciation.
• Support store team with Asset Protection through consistent service, safety, and controls.

What You’ll Do

• Become a product and brand expert of our brands to help families navigate every moment from preemie to size 14
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features, and benefits
• Maintain a genuine customer focus on the sales floor

• Consistently model service standards and omni-channel experience while coaching others to success
• Lead and execute an assigned business focus area through planning and detailed follow through
• Perform Leader on Duty supervisor responsibilities by driving results and responding to customer concerns timely and with an appropriate resolution
• Utilize customer feedback to identify areas of opportunity to implement actions to drive results
• Build customer loyalty through Company sponsored programs, including credit
• Offer consistent, in the moment feedback to store team and raise performance concerns to Store Manager
• Recognize exceptional performance through positive reinforcement and appreciation
• Support store team with Asset Protection through a consistent level of customer service, safety awareness, and operational controls

You can

• Lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Stand or walk for extended periods of time; climb up and down a ladder
• Provide availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
