Carter's, Inc. in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Part Time Sales Manager to be the first face of our baby-focused brand. You’ll help growing families explore our essentials and support the team with inclusive leadership on the sales floor.

As a leader, you’ll teach product knowledge, coach staff, and drive a positive omni-channel experience. This role offers flexible schedules, a 30% brand discount, and opportunities to grow with our training programs while supporting our customers and communities.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service orientation and professional communication (verbal and written).

• High school diploma or GED required.

As a Part Time Sales Manager, you will be the first face of the brand for growing families. You’ll congratulate new parents and grandparents, the first to introduce our new baby essentials, and the first to help prep for the first day of school, and all the big and little moments in their parenting journey.

What You’ll Do:

• Become a product and brand expert of our brands to help families navigate every moment from preemie to size 14
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features, and benefits
• Maintain a genuine customer focus on the sales floor
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers
• Consistently model service standards and omni-channel experience while coaching others to success
• Lead and execute an assigned business focus area through planning and detailed follow-through
• Perform Leader on Duty supervisor responsibilities by driving results and responding to customer concerns timely and with an appropriate resolution
• Utilize customer feedback to identify areas of opportunity to implement actions to drive results
• Build customer loyalty through Company sponsored programs, including credit
• Offer consistent, in the moment feedback to store team and raise performance concerns to Store Manager
• Recognize exceptional performance through positive reinforcement and appreciation
• Support store team with Asset Protection through a consistent level of customer service, safety awareness, and operational controls
