Job summary

Carter’s Inc. is seeking a Part Time Sales Manager in Arlington, TX to lead brand experiences for growing families. You’ll greet customers, explain product benefits, and coach the team to deliver exceptional omni-channel service.

The role emphasizes a welcoming environment, leadership on duty, and ongoing development. Must be able to lift 40 pounds, work flexible hours including weekends, and be proficient with Outlook and Excel.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Become a product and brand expert for our baby brands to help families from preemie to size 14.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and explain product styles, features, and benefits.
• Maintain a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Coach others to success while modeling service standards and omni-channel experience.
• Lead and execute an assigned business focus area through planning and follow-through.
• Perform Leader on Duty supervisor responsibilities and respond to customer concerns promptly.
• Utilize customer feedback to identify opportunities and drive results.
• Build customer loyalty through company programs, including credit.
• Provide in-the-moment feedback and raise performance concerns to Store Manager.
• Recognize exceptional performance and reinforce positive behavior.
• Support store team with Asset Protection and operational controls.

What You’ll Do:

• Become a product and brand expert of our brands to help families navigate every moment from preemie to size 14
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features, and benefits
• Maintain a genuine customer focus on the sales floor
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers
• Consistently model service standards and omni-channel experience while coaching others to success
• Lead and execute an assigned business focus area through planning and detailed follow through
• Perform Leader on Duty supervisor responsibilities by driving results and responding to customer concerns timely and with an appropriate resolution
• Utilize customer feedback to identify areas of opportunity to implement actions to drive results
• Build customer loyalty through Company sponsored programs, including credit
• Offer consistent, in the moment feedback to store team and raise performance concerns to Store Manager
• Recognize exceptional performance through positive reinforcement and appreciation
• Support store team with Asset Protection through a consistent level of customer service, safety awareness, and operational controls
