Job summary

Carter’s is seeking a Full Time Sales Manager to be the first face of the brand for growing families in Massachusetts. You will coach teams, educate on product styles and benefits, and foster an inclusive store environment.

You’ll lead with a customer-centric approach, drive omni-channel experience, and support store goals. We offer a 30% brand discount, benefits, education programs, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.
• Availability including days, nights, weekends, holidays; at least two closing shifts.

• Become a product and brand expert of our brands to help families navigate every moment from preemie to size 14.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features, and benefits.
• Maintain a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Lead and operate an assigned business focus area with planning and follow-through.
• Perform Leader on Duty supervisor responsibilities by driving results and resolving customer concerns.

What You’ll Do:

• Become a product and brand expert of our brands to help families navigate every moment from preemie to size 14
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features, and benefits
• Maintain a genuine customer focus on the sales floor
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers
• Consistently model service standards and omni-channel experience while coaching others to success
• Lead and execute an assigned business focus area through planning and detailed follow through
• Perform Leader on Duty supervisor responsibilities by driving results and responding to customer concerns timely and with an appropriate resolution
• Utilize customer feedback to identify areas of opportunity to implement actions to drive results
• Build customer loyalty through Company sponsored programs, including credit
• Offer consistent, in the moment feedback to store team and raise performance concerns to Store Manager
• Recognize exceptional performance through positive reinforcement and appreciation
• Support store team with Asset Protection through a consistent level of customer service, safety awareness, and operational controls

• The ability to manage multiple tasks at once
• Proficient computer and technology skills (Outlook, Excel, Web navigation, etc.)
• A variety of skills and experiences
• A high school diploma or GED
• You can: Lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling Stand or walk for extended periods of time; climb up and down a ladder Provide availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled, with a minimum of two closing shifts a week

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.25 - $22.25 per hour based on experience and location.
