As the Sales Manager, you’ll be directly responsible for delivering the sales and profit commitments of a sales team, including customer satisfaction, sales and growth targets, and profit contributions within the assigned team scope. You’ll directly manage the sales team, coach sales team members along the sales funnel, and continually increase team effectiveness and productivity.
Additionally, you’ll be responsible for developing senior level relationships with your team’s customers and prospects to drive growth, brand loyalty, and act as an escalation point when necessary. You’ll be the key liaison with marketing, innovation, customer service and any other relevant sales support functions to maximize the generation and execution of sales opportunities.
You’ll also be expected to have a high degree of independence and accountability for the sales decision‑making process within Amcor’s Value Plus commercial excellence principles. This senior role is a key contributor to the development of the team, budget preparation, continuously challenging commercial performance and delivering on key priorities and financial objectives.
Starting salary expected to be between $129,200 to $161,500; base pay offered may vary within the full salary range $129,200 to $193,800 depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on national averages and a geographic differential may be applied based on work location. Position may also be eligible for Amcor’s Management Incentive Plan / Sales Incentive Plan, which is an annual bonus program based on business and individual performance, as well as medical coverage and other health and welfare benefits. The salary range provided reflects the anticipated base pay for this role at the time of this posting. This range is applicable to positions performed in jurisdictions with pay transparency requirements, including CA, CO, CT, HI, IL, MD, MA, MN, NV, NJ, NY, RI, VT, WA, Washington DC, as well as remote roles that may be performed in these locations. Compensation for roles performed outside of these jurisdictions may vary. The Company reserves the right to modify this range at any time.
