Job summary

HVMG - Hospitality Ventures Management Group is seeking a Group Sales Manager - Association in Fort Walton Beach, FL to drive association group business through proactive outreach, compelling proposals, and strong relationship management.

You’ll manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to contract execution—collaborating with hotel operations to ensure flawless group experiences, reporting to the Director of Sales and advancing our portfolio across our nationwide properties.

Qualifications

  • College degree or two years of hotel experience.
  • Previous experience in a similar or related position.
  • Certifications may be considered.
  • Eligible to work in the United States and able to read/write in English.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with association clients, third parties, and organizations to generate hotel business.
  • Prospect for new business, respond to RFPs, execute contracts, and align client expectations with hotel teams.
  • Report to the Director of Sales and collaborate with internal teams on the full sales cycle.
  • Seek opportunities for career progression within the sales organization.

Group Sales Manager - Association

As the Group Sales Manager - Association, you will focus on securing group business from association markets through proactive outreach, relationship building, and tailored sales strategies. You’ll manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to contract execution—while collaborating with internal teams to ensure flawless group experiences. This position reports to the Director of Sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build excellent relationships with local, state, and national association clients, third parties, and community organizations to generate business for the hotel.
  • Prospect for new business, respond to incoming RFPs and inquiries, execute contracts, and communicate client expectations to the hotel team.
  • Your boss is the Director of Sales.
  • Use this role as a learning opportunity about the entire hotel and as a stepping‑stone to a progressive career in sales, including opportunities in larger hotels, as a Director of Sales, or as a national salesperson or third‑party planner.
Education & Experience
  • A college degree or two years of hotel experience.
  • Previous experience in a similar or related position.
  • Additional consideration will be given to applicants who have completed special certifications.
