Job summary

Wedding Angels Bridal Boutique in Portland, ME invites an energetic Sales Manager to lead our high-end bridal team in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. You will hire, train, motivate, and coach consultants, while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The role requires collegiate level education and prior management and luxury sales experience; bridal background is a plus. Expect salary + bonuses, with a combined range of $50,000–$75,000+ annually, plus opportunities for travel

Responsibilities

• Set tone and create a positive and supportive working environment for the bridal consultants and team
• Be reliable and accountable for follow-through, especially with deadlines and communications
• Utilize multiple software systems to create quotes, build orders, and train staff
• Lead and support the floor managing program
• Educate Stylists on Top Performing Gowns
• Update Best Seller slides and training documents
• Track Stylists sales metrics and progress
• Analyze sales metrics to identify trends and inventory opportunities
• Prepare routine sales reports for senior leadership
• Set clear communication expectations with the sales department and provide feedback to the team
• Monitor follow-up and customer communication on appointments
• Cross-train across Wedding Angels Departments

Wedding Angels Bridal Boutique is proud to present our Sales Manager position at our Portland, ME location in the heart of downtown. We will offer the largest selection of wedding gowns and mother-of-the-bride/groom dresses in New England with 800+ gowns from over 10 different designers. We are champions of body inclusivity and are proud to offer a vast inventory of plus-size dresses!

Collegiate level education and previous experience in management and high-end sales management preferred. Previous bridal experience is always a plus.

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: Salary + Bonuses

Combined: $50,000 - $75,000+ annually

• You have Weekend Availability. This is a must. Saturdays and Sundays are magical in our boutique. Pop some bubbly and facilitate the celebration – we’re here to make life moments for our brides and their families and friends!
• You enjoy traveling. The Wedding Angels Flagship boutique is located in Roswell, GA with our second location in Portland, ME. Traveling, training and educational retreats are a fun part of the job!

A day in the life of a Sales Manager Wedding Angel:

• Set the tone and create a positive and supportive working environment for our bridal consultants and team at large.
• Be reliable and accountable for all follow through, especially with customer deadlines and internal staff communications and projects.
• Utilize multiple software systems to create quotes, build orders, build out sales trainings, stay on top of workflow, and study from our vast training library.
• Lead and support our floor managing program.
• Educate Stylists on Top Performing Gowns.
• Update Best Seller Slide Shows and all Training Documents.
• Track Stylists sales metrics and progress.
• Analyze sales metrics to identify trends, inventory opportunities, and training areas.
• Prepare routine sales reports for senior leadership.
• Set clear communication expectations with the sales department. Provide constructive feedback to the team members. Foster a positive professional development environment.
• Monitor stylists follow up and customer communication on appointments.
• Monitor staff tasks to ensure timeliness and proper execution.
• Monitor competitor activity and market conditions.
• Communicate with fellow Leadership Angels on urgent customer orders.
• Communicate with vendors and third-party partners.
• Send weekly staff communications.
• Coach in the moment and collaborate with other leadership Angels on training and projects.
• Cross-train in many of the Wedding Angels Departments. Our leadership team is well-versed in all systems.
