Position Title: Sales Manager
Location: CDPHP Fitness Connect at the Ciccotti Center
Type: Full Time - $24/hour Bonus and Commission Opportunities Included

Our facility is managed by Power Wellness Management, a company that specializes in managing state-of-the-art medically integrated health and fitness centers. Power Wellness is a medical fitness industry pioneer who improves the lives of clients with a unique and customized approach to medical fitness center development and management. Their turnkey method takes away the stress of the development and management process allowing clients to focus on other areas of their business.

The Sales Manager provides leadership and supervision to the Sales department. They assist with acquisition and enrollment of new memberships, and ensure that the department is achieving membership and ancillary service sales goals, and delivering an exceptional member and guest experience. The Sales Manager represents and promotes the center in the community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide leadership and supervision to all Sales Leads and Sales Associates.
2. Promote and proficiently sell memberships and ancillary services included but not limited to training, massage therapy, medically-integrated programs, and nutrition services to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
3. Ensure that the Sales Department is maintaining accurate lead and prospect tracking records, and providing consistent and timely follow up.
4. Represent the center in the community by hosting events, and by attending off-site events such as health fairs, corporate events and speaking engagements with the intent of sharing center information and procuring memberships.
5. Maintain knowledge of all events and activities being promoted within the center and assist with all center marketing as it relates to acquiring new memberships, member communication, promotion of ancillary services and retention.
6. Understand demographics, market characteristics and target audience for the center, as well as center competition to assess membership options in the community.
7. Respond to member feedback with a high level of professionalism, demonstrate and provide customer service standards for all associates, and intervene with service recovery if conflicts and/or issues occur.
8. Work towards achieving established satisfaction survey metrics and provide coaching and direction to achieve threshold scores as it relates to member and guest satisfaction.
9. Assist Center Director with daily center operations and provide leadership in the absence of the Center Director.
10. Have the ability to perform all the duties outlined in the Sales Lead and Sales Associate job description as needed.
11. Exercise discretion and independent judgement in providing leadership and center oversight for day-to-day operations across all departments as it relates to member, employee or facility-related issues that might arise.
12. Encourage employee professional growth through training, supervision, empowerment, continuous performance management and feedback.
13. Provide regular feedback, write and conduct interim and annual performance reviews.
14. Conduct regularly scheduled staff meetings.
15. Participate in management meetings and all-team meetings.
16. Assist with department work schedules and time cards.
17. Hiring and training all Sales Associates.
18. Assist with development of department operating and capital budgets annually.
19. Work Manager on Duty shifts as assigned.
20. Maintain friendly, well trained and customer service oriented staff, and inter-department relationships.
21. Be proficient in all core business software as it relates to job duties and responsibilities.
22. Work towards meeting departmental and organizational goals.
23. The ability to be flexible and accommodating as it relates to center hours, work schedules and scheduling appointments for prospects and members.
24. Must meet all safety requirements and certifications necessary to perform job duties.
25. Demonstrate complete knowledge of emergency and safety procedures including the use of facility paging system and confidence in calling and communicating with EMS.
26. Participate in Company's HIPAA and related training.
27. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during interactions and work related relationships with all persons at the center including but not limited to members, guests and employees as provided in the Employee Handbook at the time of hire.
28. Demonstrate Power Wellness Core Values & Beliefs.
29. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
•Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college required.
•Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, hospitality and/or health care related field preferred.
•Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, marketing and/or customer service required.
•Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience required.
•Fitness industry sales experience highly desirable.
•CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire.
•Must possess excellent inter-personal and communication skills, and the ability to work with members in a positive, service based manner.
•Ability to multi-task and maintain a controlled and professional demeanor with a high level of organizational skills and efficiency.
•Proficient computer skills.
•Excellent sales, marketing, writing, presentation and tracking skills required.
