Job summary

Dauch Corporation, headquartered in Detroit, MI, seeks a Sales Manager to lead the OEM sales for forged and machined components. You will plan, coordinate and manage promotions, quotes, and cross-functional collaboration to win new business and maintain existing accounts.

The role requires 5+ years in OEM sales within automotive, strong understanding of business finance, and up to 20% travel. Based at our World Headquarters in Detroit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of automotive business and basic business finance.
• 5+ years experience in sales/marketing of OEM components (Toyota/Honda/Nissan experience a plus).
• Experience with sales processes and balancing customer relationships.
• Ability to travel for customer meetings (up to 20%).

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage the promotion and sales of Dauch products to assigned customers.
• Manage the customer quote process and prepare formal quotations.
• Develop OEM Long Range Product Plans (LRPPs) and target markets.
• Monitor competitors' products and marketing activities.
• Develop and maintain customer/sales database; service current customers and identify new opportunities.
• Identify new customers, establish distribution channels and negotiate contracts.
• Accomplish sales objectives by obtaining and negotiating contracts.
• All other duties as assigned.
