Job summary

Enterprise offers a Management Internship in Dekalb, IL for university students to gain hands-on business and leadership experience. This 10–12 week, full-time program runs 40 hours per week with pay of $17 per hour and is based in the Dekalb, IL office.

Interns will rotate through operations, customer service, marketing, and relationship-building tasks, complete projects, and may be eligible for performance incentives and referrals.

Qualifications

• Must be a current student enrolled toward a Bachelor's degree with a completion date in Aug 2027, Dec 2027 or May 2028.
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
• 10-12 week commitment (no more than 90 days) with the ability to start May 18th, 2027.
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week.
• Must be available on the required days listed in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Develop skills to manage a fleet of vehicles, take care of customers, develop marketing strategies and build relationships with customers and coworkers.
• Complete intern projects and engage in friendly competition; may be eligible for performance incentives and referrals.

This 10 to 12 week internship is scheduled to start May 19th, 2027. It is a full time internship, with being scheduled to work 40 hours/week. The pay is $17/hr. and will be located in the Dekalb, IL office (60115).

These dates are required working dates to be eligible for this internship:

• Tuesday, May 18th, 2027
• June 7th-9th, 2027
• Thursday, July 29th, 2027

When you join our Management Internship Program, you'll soon discover that every day is different because it is filled with new, exciting, rewarding and often unexpected opportunities. For a season, we’ll put you in the middle of everything, just like our Management Trainees. We’ll give you the chance to develop the skills you need to manage a fleet of vehicles, take care of customers, develop marketing strategies and build relationships with customers and coworkers.

During our internship, you’ll use the skills you learn to complete intern projects and engage in some friendly competition with your peers. You may also be eligible for performance incentives and employee referral rewards.
