Qualifications

  • Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations.
  • Ability to communicate with customers, operate register, lift and carry 50 pounds, hand/fold merchandise, climb, reach, push/pull.
  • Regular attendance is essential.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes customer service by greeting and assisting customers; respond to inquiries and complaints professionally and timely.
  • Performs basic operational activities including cash handling and reporting, price changes, merchandise handling, and opening/closing duties; reviews timesheets and payroll documents for accuracy.
  • Monitors associate sales activities and productivity; acknowledges performance and communicates it to associates; motivates and trains them to achieve full potential.
  • Maintains awareness of customers to improve service levels and reduce security risks; stays current on operational policies regarding payment, exchanges, and security practices.
  • Maintains knowledge of current sales and promotions; presents and displays merchandise in line with current promotions and standards.
  • Supports and administers receipt and dispatch of inventory and supplies according to company policy.
  • Supervises associates involved in sales, inventory receipt, cash reconciliation, or customer services; prepares weekly schedules to ensure proper floor coverage within fiscal guidelines.
  • Models sales expectations by using various techniques and communicating product knowledge; recommends merchandise or locates merchandise based on customer needs.
  • Builds and maintains strong customer following through clienteling and wardrobe services.
  • Maintains standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties as directed.
  • Participates in visual directives including monthly store sets and merchandise replenishment.
  • Assists in the development of store associates; interprets Key Performance Indicator reports and delivers coaching; provides feedback for performance appraisals and evaluations.

Wage range: $17.90 - $22.35.
