Visionworks is hiring a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead at Store 815 in Berwyn, IL. This part-time role emphasizes delivering the best patient journey and recommending solutions to meet eyewear needs. You’ll engage customers, meet sales goals, and participate in merchandising and daily store operations while maintaining up-to-date product knowledge and ABO certification if applicable.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• Customer or patient service experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily sales goals by delivering excellent customer and patient experiences.
• Engage with patients and recommend eyewear products and services.
• Measure eyewear needs and maintain product knowledge through ongoing training.
• Handle store operations including restocking, merchandising, and order fulfillment.

Pay Class: Part Time

Pay Rate:$15 -17.29 per hr

The Role:

A Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead is the very face of our business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/servicesand managed vision care. The person takes the patient/customer through the Visionworks experience ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple,humanand bold way.

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear andmaintainproduct/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship

Qualifications:

• 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or otherorganization) orABO Certification in lieu of experience
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
