Job summary

Chico's Hilton Head Island is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leadership, supervise the team, and model customer-centered service. You’ll drive brand standards, coach staff, and ensure operations run smoothly on the sales floor and behind the scenes.

Ideal candidates bring 2 years of retail management experience, strong communication, and a passion for fashion. This is a regular/part-time role located at Coligny Plaza, Hilton Head Island, SC.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist store leadership with opening/closing tasks and daily store operations.
• Lead by example on the sales floor and coach team members.
• Communicate brand priorities and store messages to staff.
• Manage scheduling, cash handling, inventory, and replenishment.
• Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming environment.

About the role

As a Sales Lead, you partner closely with store leaders to supervise the team, lead by example, and step in to support leadership responsibilities wherever needed. You play a pivotal role in upholding brand standards and helping shape a positive team culture. You will set the tone for achieving team goals by providing clear direction and support. As a role model for the team, you demonstrate a welcoming, customer-centered environment that goes beyond the transaction to create memorable, personalized experiences that reflect our culture of hospitality.

The impact you can have

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling, when needed.
• Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork with peers and leaders.

What you’ll bring to the role

• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
