Job summary

Lane Bryant in Calhoun, GA is hiring a Lane Bryant Associate to create a hospitable store environment through customer engagement. You will help customers find the right fit, share fashion trends, and build trust while representing the brand.

This role requires strong sales or hospitality experience, flexibility for nights, weekends and holidays, and familiarity with mobile devices and point-of-sale systems to engage customers. Comfortable lifting up to 25 pounds is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong sales or hospitality experience preferred with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance standards.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient using mobile technology (Registers and iPad) to engage with customers.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Able to climb a 12-foot ladder to access overhead items.

The Lane Bryant Associate is responsible for creating a hospitable store environment using customer engagement that contributes to the achievement of Company goals.

Responsibilities

Sales and Service

Identifies customer needs & wants with curiosity and confidence through intentional conversation. Uses company resources to reinforce the brand experience and facilitate/build strong, enduring relationships. Shares and represents current products, fit and fashion trends with customers to appropriately wardrobe, inspire and build trust.

Operations

Supports areas of operational energy as needed. Plans and prioritizes tasks and responsibilities to meet the needs of the customer and business. Protects company assets and maintains a safe work environment. Follows all company policies and procedures as well as local, state, and federal employment laws.

Requirements

• Strong sales or hospitality experience preferred with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance standards.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient and confident utilizing mobile technology (e.g. Registers and iPad) to engage with customers.
• Adjust or move store fixtures including but not limited to garment racks, mannequins, shipment boxes or merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds in all directions on a frequent basis; may need to adjust or move objects or merchandise weighing as much as 50 pounds in all directions on occasion and with assistance as available.
• Retrieve merchandise displayed or stored above shoulder level on a frequent basis, which may include climbing up to a 12-foot ladder; may need to replace overhead lightbulbs, signs, etc. on an occasional basis using up to a 12-foot ladder.
