Job summary

Jockey is seeking an energetic Sales Lead (Key Holder) at our Troutdale, OR location to provide outstanding customer service and help meet store goals.

As Manager on Duty, you will assist with opening and closing, coach the team, and drive sales while maintaining store standards. This part-time role offers PTO and employee discounts, along with incentives and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• 1 year of management experience (preferred).
• Three years of retail or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service following Jockey’s service principles and helping achieve store goals.
• Provide feedback, coaching and direction to the store team.
• Provide a warm, sincere greeting to all guests and promote promotions and rewards.
• Engage guests to identify needs and offer solutions using product knowledge.
• Promote awareness and growth of Jockey Rewards membership.
• Assist in driving store sales and profitability and manage sales transactions.
• Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of Store Management including opening and closing the store.
• Assist with merchandising, stock, markdowns and visuals according to standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and support hiring efforts.

Jockey is seeking an energetic Sales Lead (Key Holder) to join our team at our Troutdale, OR location. As a Sales Lead for Jockey, you will provide excellent customer service following Jockey’s service principles focusing on the achievement of store goals and maximizing sales. In addition, you will provide management assistance with opening and closing of store.

JOB EXPECTATIONS

• Promote awareness and excitement to grow Jockey Rewards® membership
• Assist in driving all aspects of store level sales, goals and profitability.
• Perform various sales and register transactions including ringing purchases, processing of cash or credit payments and counting money.
• Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of Store Management including opening and closing the store in accordance with Jockey’s policies.
• Assist with merchandising (stock, markdowns, visuals) of product in the store, in adherence to established visual standards.
• Protect the security of cash, inventory and other company assets according to policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to all Jockey policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Support hiring and recruiting efforts
• Other job duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

PREFERRED:

• 1 year of management experience
• Three years of retail or customer service experience with a proven ability to demonstrate a passion for extraordinary guest service and sales.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• Ability to move 25 pounds.
• Ability to effectively maneuver around sales floor and stockroom, repetitive bending, prolong standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and ascending / descending ladder to stock and merchandise store.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning chemicals.
