Job summary

KnitWell Group is hiring a Sales Lead for Store 0621-Towne Place at Greenbrier-Chico's-Chesapeake, VA. You will supervise the team, uphold brand standards, and model customer-focused experiences that reflect our hospitality culture.

You will open/close, coach staff, manage inventory and scheduling, and ensure smooth operations while driving sales and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Owns initiatives, with strong teamwork and ownership.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to bend, reach, stretch and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations including opening and closing.
• Lead by example on the sales floor; coach and support the team.
• Share brand priorities, initiatives and messages with store teams.
• Maintain product knowledge and omni-channel practices.
• Handle scheduling, inventory, cash handling and replenishment.
• Foster a positive work environment and teamwork with peers and leaders.

About the role

As a Sales Lead, you partner closely with store leaders to supervise the team, lead by example, and step in to support leadership responsibilities wherever needed. You play a pivotal role in upholding brand standards and helping shape a positive team culture. You will set the tone for achieving team goals by providing clear direction and support. As a role model for the team, you demonstrate a welcoming, customer-centered environment that goes beyond the transaction to create memorable, personalized experiences that reflect our culture of hospitality.

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling, when needed.
• Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork with peers and leaders.

Pay Range: $13.77 - $17.20 Hourly USD
