White House Black Market in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leaders, supervise the team, and model exceptional service. You will help shape a positive team culture and drive brand standards on the sales floor.

Responsibilities include opening/closing tasks, coaching, scheduling support, cash handling, and maintaining store operations while delivering personalized customer experiences that reflect our hospitality culture.

Qualifications

• 2 years retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products and lift up to 50 pounds.

About The Role

As a Sales Lead, you partner closely with store leaders to supervise the team, lead by example, and step in to support leadership responsibilities wherever needed. You play a pivotal role in upholding brand standards and helping shape a positive team culture. You will set the tone for achieving team goals by providing clear direction and support. As a role model for the team, you demonstrate a welcoming, customer-centered environment that goes beyond the transaction to create memorable, personalized experiences that reflect our culture of hospitality.

In This Role, You'll Have The Opportunity To

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling, when needed.
• Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork with peers and leaders.

What You'll Bring To The Role

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.

• Flexible availability - including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
