Job summary

Chico's FAS, Inc. is seeking a Sales Lead in Bluffton, SC to partner with store leaders, supervise the team, and reinforce our hospitality-driven culture. You will model customer-focused service and help drive brand standards across daily operations.

Responsibilities span coaching, scheduling, product knowledge, and omnichannel initiatives, with a focus on memorable, personalized shopping experiences. This role emphasizes teamwork and leadership in a specialty retail environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise store team and assist with leadership tasks.
• Share brand priorities and messages with store teams.
• Lead on the sales floor with product knowledge and omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Handle operations such as cash handling, scheduling, inventory, and replenishment.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Participate in scheduling and associate development as needed.
• Contribute ideas to store leadership and foster teamwork.

About The Role

As a Sales Lead, you partner closely with store leaders to supervise the team, lead by example, and step in to support leadership responsibilities wherever needed. You play a pivotal role in upholding brand standards and helping shape a positive team culture. You will set the tone for achieving team goals by providing clear direction and support. As a role model for the team, you demonstrate a welcoming, customer-centered environment that goes beyond the transaction to create memorable, personalized experiences that reflect our culture of hospitality.

In This Role, You'll Have The Opportunity To

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling, when needed.
• Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork with peers and leaders.

What You’ll Bring To The Role
