Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Sales Intern to join our North America team for the summer in Mentor, Ohio. You will gain exposure to our business, work cross-functionally, and begin to learn our go-to-market sales strategy while building essential skills.

Applicants pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with a Sales certificate or program are encouraged to apply; prior internship or student involvement is a plus. Reliable transportation and no sponsorship eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree (Sales Certificate or Sales Program preferred)
• Previous internship/co-op experience or relevant work experience (a plus)
• Google Suite knowledge, curiosity, and interest in continuous learning
• Experience via student organizations, such as Alpha Kappa Psi, or volunteerism/similar activities
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• No sponsorship available now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Exposure to the Avery Dennison business and our customer base
• Work cross-functionally to gain business insights and exposure to various aspects of the business
• Learn our go to market sales strategy and customer segmentation
• Develop key skills: Build skills in areas such as project management, relationship management, customer engagement, time management and negotiation
• Potential project leader for enhancing commercial effectiveness or best practice
