Assurity is seeking a motivated intern in Lincoln, NE to join the sales team. This paid internship is designed to develop entrepreneurial talents and professional growth while learning about recruiting nationwide brokers to sell Assurity products and services.

You will work with regional sales managers and internal wholesalers, gaining real-world sales experience and travel opportunities to understand the insurance industry deeply.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

This is not a “typical” sales position. This internship is a great opportunity to use your entrepreneurial talents and excel professionally as you work on a sales team in a fast-paced environment. Assurity will work around your school schedule and provide a paid internship where you will learn about recruiting nationwide brokers to sell Assurity products and services. This is not a life insurance agent position – we only sell our products through brokers. We are looking to recruit students with a desire to learn and promising sales potential. Assurity’s sales internship will provide the following opportunities:

• Gaining in-depth knowledge and understanding of the insurance industry and Assurity’s products and services
• Developing your sales leadership and management skills
• Assisting regional sales managers and internal wholesalers with the management of their territory
• Traveling with sales leadership and regional sales managers to gain real-world sales experience.
• Recruiting brokers through proven methods and techniques (No cold calling required!)
• Fostering relationships with brokers to help grow their business and regional sales territories
• Networking with insurance professionals locally and throughout the U.S.
