Job summary

Orkin is seeking a Sales Inspector to perform thorough home inspections from attic to crawl space and to present clear findings to homeowners. You will close sales by demonstrating the value and long-term protection of Orkin’s pest control solutions, while leveraging an iPad for scheduling and documentation.

Ideal candidates have sales, account management, or home inspection experience, strong communication skills, and can work independently in a variety of weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Sales, account management, home inspection, or project management experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to climb, crawl, and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct full-home inspections (attic to crawl space).
• Explain findings clearly and recommend best treatment options to customers.
• Close sales by highlighting value, protection and long-term benefits of services.
• Manage appointments, follow-ups, and documentation using a company-provided iPad.
• Work independently, prioritize your schedule and maximize self-generated opportunities.
• Represent Orkin with professionalism, empathy and integrity at every step.

Qualifications

• Sales, Account Management, Home Inspection, or Project Management experience required
• Love meeting new people and helping solve real problems
• Are confident, competitive, and goal-driven
• Can work independently and stay organized
• Don’t mind climbing, crawling, or working in various weather conditions.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Use a ladder safely within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator.
