Job summary

Memphis Goodwill Inc. is seeking a SALES FLOOR ASSOCIATE for Carriage Crossing GGC in Collierville, TN. The role focuses on greeting customers, answering questions about merchandise, and promoting sales on the store floor.

You will maintain a clean, organized sales area, assist with inventory counts, and ensure adherence to company policies and safety practices. This is a part-time position based in Collierville, TN.

• Delivers friendly, prompt customer service and helps with merchandise inquiries.
• Keeps the sales floor neat and merchandised; assists with promotions.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner; assist customers with merchandise inquiries, and promoting sales; while ensuring 100% customer satisfaction.
• Adheres to the use of Goodwill’s Guiding Principles.
• Ensures accurate counts; while achieving and exceeding the MGI production goals of (14) racks or carts per day.
• Places apparel, wares, shoes, accessories, etc., onto sales floor in correct location and rotates merchandise from sales floor as needed.
• Maintains sales floor and inventory in a clean, neat and properly displayed manner to maximize profits.
• Maintains dressing rooms free of dust, dirt, fallen merchandise, and clutter; removes hangers from cash wrap.
• Adheres to all MGI and personnel policies and procedures; follow good safety practices including reporting safety hazards.
• Reports all incidents of theft (both internal and external) to a management team member or Loss Prevention Manager.
