Job summary

Royal Palm South Beach Miami, part of Davidson Hospitality Group, seeks an Event Sales and Planning Assistant to join our opening team in Miami Beach. You will support the event sales and planning staff in coordinating weddings, conferences, galas, and more, ensuring flawless execution and exceptional client service.

The role requires strong organizational skills, energy, and a customer-service mindset; you will handle inquiries, proposals, contracts, budgets, timelines, and site visits,

Qualifications

• One year front office, reservations, sales, and/or catering experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Valid driver's license where applicable.
• Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist in event sales and planning activities, including client inquiries, proposals, and contracts.
• Collaborate with clients to understand event needs, preferences, and budgets.
• Coordinate event logistics: venue setup, catering, decor, AV requirements.
• Create detailed event timelines and itineraries.
• Support budgeting and financial transactions for events.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries.
• Conduct site visits and showcase event spaces to potential clients.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless event execution.
