As an extruder with in-house, state-of-the-art machining capabilities, we offer a wide range of custom extruded profiles to well-known OEM manufacturers in numerous other industries.

The position of Sales Estimator/Project Manager involves maintaining current customer needs and proactively pursuing new work through relationship building and estimating all aspects of customer projects and material needs, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities include budgeting, hard-dollar bidding, full estimating services, and coordinating customer orders, including approvals, shop releases, work instructions, fabrication, finishing, packing, and shipping. Some light travel and trade shows are required. Duties include, but are not limited to, the items listed below.

Requirements
  • Actively engage existing customers and review current and future needs.
  • Actively look for and pursue new customers.
  • Build and maintain strong industry relationships leading to new opportunities.
  • Take-off material requirements from customer drawings.
  • Create estimates from take-offs to provide quotations.
  • Manage orders to meet customer requirements.
  • Serve as liaison between customer and other departments.
  • Visit customers periodically to strengthen relationships.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Anticipate issues before they arise.
  • Interpret architectural blueprints and die drawings.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in manufacturing and/or construction-related fields.
  • Experience in glazing industry, aluminum doors, and hardware, or extrusion is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong math skills.
  • Highly organized with proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD experience is a plus but not required.
