We sit at the intersection of defense, robotics, and next-generation autonomy, powering the machines that are changing how militaries, first responders, and industries operate in the field. Our core purpose is simple: connect anyone and anything, at any time, in any place.

For over 25 years, our team has been at the forefront of mesh networking, partnering with leading defense programs, robotics manufacturers, and system integrators worldwide. The work here doesn't sit in a slide deck — it ends up in the field, in the hands of people for whom failure isn't an option.

About the Role

The Sales Engineer (US) plays a critical technical role supporting customer integration and adoption of Doodle Labs’ wireless networking products. In this role, you will work directly with leading drone and robotics OEMs to guide successful integration of Doodle Labs radios from initial technical evaluation through field testing and deployment.

You will serve as the technical point of contact for customers, helping diagnose RF and networking challenges, supporting system integration, and ensuring reliable performance in operational environments. This role sits at the intersection of customer success, field engineering, and technical problem-solving within a fast-growing robotics and autonomy ecosystem.

What You’ll Do
  • Support 10–15 active customer integrations, guiding OEM partners through structured technical milestones and validation step
Work closely with customers to ensure successful radio integration, configuration, and system-level performance
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to RF propagation, antenna systems, networking performance, and system integration
  • Support field deployments across UAV, UGV, and maritime robotics platforms, ensuring successful test outcomes and validation milestones
  • Capture integration learnings and feedback to improve future customer deployments and internal engineering processes
  • Maintain accurate customer engagement data and opportunity tracking within CRM systems such as HubSpot
  • Partner with sales, product, and engineering teams to support customer evaluations, demonstrations, and technical workshops
  • Build strong customer relationships through hands-on engagement during field testing, integration events, and validation programs
What Success Looks Like
  • Successful integration of Doodle Labs radios into customer platforms across multiple robotics and autonomous systems programs
  • High technical win rates across active integration programs
  • Reliable support of customer field testing events and validation milestones
  • Strong customer trust and technical credibility with engineering teams and program leaders
  • Clear visibility of customer integration progress through consistent CRM documentation and cross-functional communication
Who You Are
  • 3–7+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Field Applications Engineering, or Systems Integration
  • Strong hands-on understanding of RF propagation, antenna systems, and wireless networking technologies
  • Experience supporting radio integration into UAV, robotics, or autonomous systems platforms
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP networking and system-level connectivity troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills when working directly with customer engineering teams
  • Comfortable working in field environments and fast-paced technical deployment scenarios
  • Highly accountable and motivated by solving real-world engineering challenges that directly impact customer success
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with mesh networking or MANET systems
  • Experience supporting DoD programs, defense contractors, or DIU initiatives
  • Experience working with autonomy OEMs, including industrial drones, ground robotics, or maritime robotics platforms
  • Hands-on experience with network configuration and troubleshooting tools
Why Join Doodle Labs
  • Work on cutting-edge technology powering the future of autonomous systems
  • Collaborate with engineers and innovators building industry-leading connectivity solutions
