Job summary

Veolia Water Technology is seeking a senior account strategist for an on-site role in Clay, NY, to position Veolia during the design phase and secure projects that could exceed $350mm in value. You will work with account managers, product management, and technology teams across Veolia to win long-term opportunities.

This role requires deep water treatment knowledge, strategic selling, and the ability to engage with C-level stakeholders in complex enterprise sales cycles.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, biology or chemistry.
  • Minimum 10 years of technical water treatment experience,
  • Minimum 5 years in MicroE, site presence or project management.
  • On-site work presence in the U.S. is required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate closely with the Veolia Key Account Manager to oversee all Account activities.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize contract performance down to the plant level.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Buyer's plant(s) needs and tailor Veolia solutions.
  • Lead the adoption of Veolia technologies with the customer.
  • Serve as primary on-site liaison between Veolia and Micron.
  • Engage Micron throughout the project from bid through execution.
  • Support technical discovery sessions to document customer requirements.
  • Facilitate communication between customer stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for expanded collaboration and scope across lines.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through responsive support and issue resolution.

Job Summary

Crucial strategic position to position Veolia during design phase to better position us for the projects in a pro-active manner with the understanding that it will have longer term payoff for Veolia when the projects are tendered, constructed and operated securing upwards of $350mm. This is a crucial role that involves close collaboration with key stakeholders, including account contacts, Key Account Managers, product management, and technology teams across Veolia.

This is an on-site position in Clay, NY.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Coordinate closely with the Veolia Key Account Manager to oversee all Account activities.
  • Continuously m Monitor and optimise contract performance down to at the plant level.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our Buyer's plant(s) needs and how Veolia can provide tailored solutions to address them effectively.
  • Lead the charge in driving the adoption of Veolia technologies with customer
  • Serve as primary on-site liaison between Veolia and Micron
  • Engage Micron proactively throughout the project, from bid through execution completion. Early bid involvement includes opportunities identified prior to RFP receipt.
  • Support technical discovery sessions to identify and document customer requirements (ie. pre- RFP)
  • Facilitate communication between customer stakeholders and internal engineering/technical teams
  • Build and maintain strong trusted relationships with customer and other project stakeholders
  • Anticipate customer needs and potential issues before they escal
  • Track and report on customer engagement activities, requirements, and project status
  • Identify opportunities for expanded collaboration, expanded scope across business lines and additional business value
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through responsive support and issue resolution
  • Represent company culture and values while embedded in customer environment
  • Drive and/or support internal bid activities and processes, as needed.

  • In-depth knowledge of water treatment products, services, technologies, and applications portfolio
Technical Competencies:

  • Solid understanding of the water infrastructure needs of customers in the semiconductor manufacturing space
  • Knowledge of water and wastewater stream from semiconductor chip fabs, water treatment equipment manufacturing processes, and systems integration

Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range:$110,000 - 135,000USD + a sales incentive plan.
