Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Training Specialist‑Sales to elevate the sales team's capabilities through onboarding, structured training plans, and impactful content development. You will collaborate with HR and Sales to deliver engaging, instructor-led and online learning experiences.

The role emphasizes field coaching, performance improvement initiatives, and ongoing optimization of training programs to drive results across assigned sales areas.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside sales experience.
• Experience delivering training in in-person and virtual settings.
• Experience in developing training content and leader's guides.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding & development: manage monthly onboarding for new sales hires with 30/60/90‑day tracking.
• Training planning & delivery: develop quarterly plans and deliver sessions in-person or virtually.
• Content & program development: update training materials to reflect evolving sales strategies and products.
• Performance support & coaching: identify training gaps and work with reps on improvement initiatives.
• Learning & adoption: track LMS usage and measure training effectiveness; gather feedback.
• Continuous improvement: stay current on best practices and apply modern learning strategies.
