Job description

We are looking for a highly organized, commercially minded Sales Development & Revenue Operations Manager to help build and operate our sales engine.

This is a hybrid role combining hands-on sales development with Revenue Operations ownership. You will be responsible for generating and qualifying new opportunities while also ensuring that our CRM, pipeline, reporting, follow-up systems, and sales processes are exceptionally organized and consistently executed.

This role is ideal for someone who likes both sides of sales: creating opportunities and building the infrastructure that makes sure opportunities don’t get lost.

You will work closely with leadership to turn our existing network, inbound interest, referrals, partnerships, and target prospect lists into a disciplined and measurable sales pipeline.

What You’ll Own

Research and identify high-value prospective clients, referral sources, strategic partners, and other potential opportunities.

Build and maintain highly targeted prospect lists.

Conduct thoughtful outbound prospecting through email, LinkedIn, introductions, referrals, and other appropriate channels.

Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities before passing qualified prospects to leadership for sales conversations.

Coordinate and schedule sales calls.

Prepare leadership for calls with prospect background, relationship history, relevant context, and recommended next steps.

Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects who are not yet ready to buy.

Re-engage dormant prospects and previously interested leads.

Track referral opportunities and ensure introductions are followed through.

Help develop and continuously improve outbound messaging, sequences, and prospecting strategies.

Revenue Operations

Own the operational infrastructure behind the sales process from lead → opportunity → sales call → proposal → close → onboarding → renewal.

Responsibilities include:

Own CRM accuracy, organization, and adoption.

Maintain clean lifecycle stages, deal stages, lead statuses, and pipeline definitions.

Ensure every active opportunity has an owner, next action, follow-up date, and accurate stage.

Build workflows and automations to prevent leads and opportunities from falling through the cracks.

Create standardized sales processes, checklists, templates, and follow-up sequences.

Manage lead routing and qualification processes.

Identify bottlenecks and breakdowns in the sales funnel.

Improve sales workflows and eliminate unnecessary manual work.

Maintain accurate source attribution for leads and opportunities.

Track membership renewals and upcoming commercial opportunities.

Partner with leadership on improving the overall client acquisition process.

Reporting & Analytics

Build clear visibility into sales performance and answer questions such as:

How much qualified pipeline do we have?

Where are our best leads coming from?

What percentage of leads become qualified opportunities?

What percentage of sales calls convert?

How long does it take to close a prospect?

Where are prospects dropping out of the funnel?

Which referral sources produce the strongest opportunities?

What revenue is expected from the current pipeline?

Which opportunities require immediate follow-up?

What renewals are approaching?

Qualified opportunities

Conversion rates

Win/loss rates

Forecasted revenue

Closed revenue

Leadership should be able to look at the CRM and understand the health of the sales organization without having to manually investigate individual deals.

CRM & Systems Ownership

You will become the internal owner of our sales technology and processes, including HubSpot.

You will be expected to:

Build reports and dashboards.

Create workflows and automations.

Maintain properties and pipeline architecture.

Identify duplicate or incomplete records.

Ensure sales activity is properly captured.

Build sequences and follow-up systems.

Document processes so they can scale as the sales team grows.

You should be comfortable getting into the details yourself rather than relying on an outside consultant every time something needs to be changed.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first several months:

Every meaningful prospect has a clearly documented status, next step, owner, and follow-up date.

Leadership has reliable, real-time visibility into pipeline and sales performance.

Prospecting happens consistently rather than sporadically.

Follow-up becomes systematic rather than dependent on someone’s memory.

The CRM becomes the source of truth for sales.

You proactively identify where revenue is being lost and recommend ways to improve the process.

Most importantly, you help create a repeatable revenue engine rather than simply administering a list of leads.

Who We’re Looking For
You are:

Extremely organized and detail-oriented.

Persistent without being aggressive.

Commercially minded and genuinely interested in revenue.

Comfortable speaking with sophisticated, high-level prospects.

Excellent at written communication.

Highly accountable with follow-up.

Analytical and comfortable working with sales data.

Naturally process-oriented.

Comfortable building systems from scratch.

Able to move between strategy and execution.

Someone who notices when something is falling through the cracks before being asked.

Comfortable working directly with founders and senior leadership.

You should enjoy both talking to prospects and working inside the CRM figuring out why conversion isn’t higher.

Experience
Ideally, you have:

3–7+ years of experience across SDR, BDR, sales operations, or Revenue Operations.

Experience managing a B2C, membership, luxury, hospitality, professional services, or high-ticket sales pipeline.

Experience building sales dashboards and reporting.

Experience with outbound prospecting.

Strong understanding of pipeline management and sales funnel metrics.

Experience designing or improving sales processes and automations.

Experience selling to UHNW individuals, family offices, luxury consumers, executives, founders, or other high-value clients is particularly valuable.

Important
This is not a pure SDR position.

We are not looking for someone whose only responsibility is making a high volume of cold calls or booking meetings.

This is also not a passive Sales Operations position.

We want someone who is willing to actively create opportunities while simultaneously building the systems, processes, data, and accountability necessary to turn those opportunities into revenue.

The right person will eventually know our pipeline exceptionally well and be able to tell leadership:

To ensure a fair and organized hiring process, please direct all communication through the official application channels only. Candidates who contact our Founder directly regarding this role will not be considered.
