Job summary

Ministry Brands is seeking a Sales Development Representative for its growing team. This remote-friendly role focuses on generating and qualifying leads, setting up meetings for Account Executives, and fueling the early funnel for digital SaaS solutions across faith-based and nonprofit sectors.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in telemarketing or inside sales, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Microsoft Suite experience.
• Ability to hit at least 18 SAO per month.
• General office environment experience.
• Ability to handle extended periods of computer-based work.

Responsibilities

• Develop pipeline by outbound research and outreach via email, phone and social media.
• Set meetings for product demonstrations with inbound and self-sourced leads.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales to drive targeted demand generation campaigns.
• Utilize dialer tools with about 2 hours of daily dialing.
• Contribute to forecasting, reporting, CRM maintenance and communications.
• Respond to inbound leads and log activities in CRM.

The following locations in the Southeast region are approved remote working locations for this role: As a Sales Development Representative you will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, reaching out to prospective clients, and setting up meetings for the Account Executives. Your role is critical in driving the early stages of the sales funnel and contributing to the growth of the business.

Responsibilities

• Develop pipeline by building interest with new prospects and clients resulting from your own outbound research and activities including email, phone and/or social media
• Set meetings for sales team for product demonstrations with interested prospects (from both inbound leads and your own self-sourced leads)
• Work closely with marketing and sales teams to initiate the sales cycle with specific, targeted demand generation campaigns with prospects and current clients
• Utilize phone dialer tools with daily usage of 2 hours per day when making dials
• Contribute to every component of the critical functions associated with fulfilling the sales cycle (forecasting, reporting, customer database maintenance, communications, etc.)
• Respond to all inbound leads and log activities in CRM

Qualifications

• 1+ years of telemarketing or inside sales experience
• ~ Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
• ~ Microsoft Suite experience
• ~ Ability to successfully hit at least 18 SAO (Sales Accepted Opportunities) per month
• ~ Ability to work in a general office environment
• Ability to handle extended periods of computer-based work, including telephone

Travel Considerations

• ~ Domestic and/or international travel required, estimated up to 5%
