Department Overview

The Sales Development Team is responsible for both inbound lead development and outbound demand generation. We use all methods of outreach including but not limited to: Phone, E-mail, Social Media, Webinars, and Live In-Person Conferences. We build our sales pipeline by identifying and engaging new account opportunities (outbound sales) using buying intent signals, marketing leads, partner initiatives, and strategic target accounts. All Revenue Opportunities start with us.

Position Summary

Aria Systems is seeking a high-energy Outbound Sales professional to join our SDR team responsible for growing the North America region. Reporting to the Global SDR Manager, we're looking for someone who can engage prospective customers effectively, contribute ideas for approaching prospects, and work independently with minimal coaching. Responsibilities
  • Generate new business opportunities in target and Fortune 2000 accounts to fuel the sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with Sales Directors to develop targeted lists, identify decision-makers, and craft call strategies and messaging
  • Partner with Aria’s Alliance channel to drive opportunities via Strategic Partnerships such as Salesforce and ServiceNow
  • Research and build relationships within existing and new accounts (adding contacts, pre-call planning, email outreach, strategic appointment setting)
  • Engage in high-level conversations with senior executives in target accounts
  • Manage and overcome prospect objections effectively
  • Build trusted relationships and become a trusted advisor to prospects
  • Provide feedback to optimize processes continuously
  • Participate in demand generation activities like events and webinars
  • Achieve or exceed monthly quotas for meetings and qualified opportunities
Desired Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in lead qualification/outbound sales, preferably in Technology or SaaS; experience with billing is a plus
  • Experience calling into and qualifying decision-makers within large enterprise accounts
  • Ability to understand customer needs and identify suitable Aria solutions
  • Cold-calling and email marketing experience
  • Detail-oriented and goal-driven
  • Passion for technology and cloud solutions

  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
