Job role: Sales Development Representative

Location: United States (remote in CA, CO, GA, TX and VA only)

Job description: We are looking for a motivated, self-directed, and organized Sales Development Representative (SDR), working closely with marketing and reporting to the head of sales to source outbound leads and qualify inbound leads. This position is perfect for someone who wants to learn and grow within the role and beyond as a career progression in sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound leads follow-up and outbound outreach
  • Leverage different prospecting tools, channels and sources to prospect within named ICP accounts, including email, cold calls, and social outreach
  • Discover pain points and understand prospect needs/requirements to determine a fit for Zumigo solutions, and to fine-tune successful messaging when engaging with the prospect
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure, including scheduling calls
  • Research target accounts and prospects, and use the information to create/refresh account plans for execution
  • Work closely with marketing and execute new lead generation and nurture campaigns
  • Collaborate effectively with the sales and marketing teams to drive pipeline growth

Requirements and skills:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a sales role
  • Prior experience in using CRM systems such as HubSpot to maintain, track, update, and report on opportunities
  • Prior experience working with social contact databases such as LinkedIn
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment by multi-tasking, prioritizing, and managing time effectively
  • Ability to contextualize messages to create customized content including emails, messages and call scripts
  • Ability to understand the Zumigo solutions and learn how to message their benefits to prospects.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent

Preferred skills:

  • Experience in the fraud prevention, identity verification and/or cybersecurity industries
