Job summary

Everstory Partners in Centre County, PA seeks a Sales Counselor to guide families through funeral service options and merchandise. You’ll handle walk-ins, inbound calls, and proactive leads to match needs with pre-need and at-need offerings, cemetery services, and related property.

The role offers first-year earnings of $45,000–$55,000 with uncapped commission, plus training pay of $18.00/hour for six weeks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some related education preferred.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle; mileage reimbursement.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook).
• Experience with a CRM (lead management) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends.

• Estimated first-year earnings range: $45,000 - $55,000

• The Sales Counselor assists families with funeral selections and attends services.
• Leads are generated through a combination of walk‑ins, inbound calls and proactive lead generation and prospecting.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required with some additional education preferred in a related area such as Business, Marketing, and/or Sales.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle. Off‑site appointments will occur in this role including meetings with clients and community events. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel associated with job duties.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Microsoft Excel and Outlook) required.
• Experience working in a CRM (lead management system preferred).
• Strong attention to detail with problem‑solving skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
