Qualifications

  • Gaming or distribution industry experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office apps including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to learn company systems, products, and processes quickly.
  • Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to assist across departments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Knowledge of MAS200, Sage, or other CRM system preferred.

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Coordinator serves as a flexible support resource for the Sales Department. This role provides coverage for Account Managers, Senior Account Managers, and Sales Managers during vacations, leave, training, or other absences while assisting with web orders, administrative functions, sales operations projects, customer support activities, and general account management tasks as assigned.

The Sales Coordinator is designed as a developmental position that provides exposure to customer service, sales operations, order management, product knowledge, and account management processes. Through daily responsibilities and cross-functional collaboration, the Sales Coordinator develops the skills necessary to advance into an Account Manager role.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Coverage & Account Support

  • Provide temporary coverage for assigned customer accounts when Account Managers, Senior Account Managers, or Sales Managers are unavailable.
  • Assist customers with order status inquiries, product availability questions, and general account support.
  • Monitor coverage inboxes and ensure customer communications receive timely responses.
  • Escalate customer concerns appropriately when resolution authority falls outside the role.
  • Maintain detailed records and notes to ensure smooth account transitions when primary account owners return.

Web Order Support

  • Process, review, and monitor web-generated orders.
  • Assist with order verification and accuracy checks.
  • Support order maintenance, cleanup, and follow-up activities.
  • Communicate with customers regarding order-related questions as directed.
  • Assist in resolving web order discrepancies and customer concerns.
  • Assist Sales Management with administrative tasks and departmental projects.
  • Support data entry, reporting, spreadsheet maintenance, and sales tracking initiatives.
  • Assist with order audits, allocation reviews, customer list maintenance, and account updates.
  • Maintain accuracy of customer information within company systems.
  • Assist with onboarding preparation and training documentation as assigned.
  • Support Organized Play, promotions, event registrations, and related administrative processes when required.

Customer Communication

  • Respond to customer inquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain consistent communication standards and company messaging.
  • Assist with product announcements, restock notifications, promotional communication, and other customer outreach efforts.
  • Support customer follow-up activities as directed by Sales Management.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Customer Care, Purchasing, Finance, Operations, Allocations, and Sales teams.
  • Assist with resolving order-related issues and customer concerns.
  • Support department initiatives that improve communication, efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Participate in training sessions, meetings, and developmental activities.

Product & Industry Development

  • Develop knowledge of GTS products, vendors, systems, and programs.
  • Learn organized play programs, allocation processes, and company procedures.
  • Stay informed regarding industry releases, promotions, and market developments.
  • Demonstrate continuous improvement and willingness to learn.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear.
