Mossy Automotive Group is seeking energetic sales professionals to join our growing team in Southern California. As a Mossy Sales Consultant you will sell New and Pre-Owned vehicles, aiming to meet unit quotas, gross profit goals, and client satisfaction targets.

Employees are primarily commission-based with a guaranteed base pay for non-sales work and rest periods. The role includes benefits, training, and strong growth potential within a family-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment background check & drug screen required.
• CA driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Establish daily, weekly and monthly prospecting and sales goals and organize work to achieve results.
• Build relationships and create customers for life by understanding needs and offering suitable vehicle options.
• Be the vehicle expert: know products, packages, technology, and aftermarket options.
• Perform high-quality and professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
• Follow up with buyers to encourage referrals and repeat business.
• Close sales efficiently to maximize gross profit and accurately complete financial aspects of transactions.
• Report to Sales Manager on objectives, activities, reviews, and analyses.

Responsibilities

• Establishing daily, weekly and monthly prospecting and sales goals, prioritizing and organizing work and productive results, and utilizing time effectively.
• Build relationships & create customers for life. Assist them in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
• Be the vehicle expert. Know the in’s & the out’s of product offerings, optional packages & latest technology and aftermarket products and services.
• Perform high-quality and professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
• Follow-up with buyers to ensure referral business.
• Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations; complying with all company, DMV, state and federal requirements.
• Direct report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.
• Bring your ‘A game’ & positive attitude with you every day
• Efficiently closing sales to attain optimal gross profit; properly computing financial aspects of sales transactions.
• Consistently follow up after sales to assure client satisfaction and opportunity for additional sales and more return purchase.
