Responsibilities

• Enter orders and confirm receipt and pricing back to customers.
• Answer questions in a friendly manner and proactively assist guests with accurate information; make product/service recommendations and accommodate special requests.
• Confirm pricing for previous days' orders and deliver to accounting.
• Check with outside freezers to ensure weekly shipments are in order.
• Exhibit the highest level of customer service to all customers and visitors.
• Fill and build displays; ensure products are priced accurately.
• Monitor temperature of cases, coolers and storage areas and fix any failures.
• Follow all company guidelines on safety and sanitation and clean equipment as required.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal health and civil code regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.

This Salesclerk position is the front-line customer service for the Sales at the fresh market at Case Farms. This position is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the fresh Market store.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

• Enter orders; confirm receipt and pricing back to customers
• Answer questions in a friendly manner, proactively assist guests with accurate and timely information, make product/service recommendations and accommodating special requests.
• Confirm pricing for previous days orders/deliver to accounting.
• Check with outside freezers to see if weekly shipments are in order
• Exhibit the highest possible level of customer service to all customers and visitors.
• Fill and build displays; make sure product is priced accurately.
• Monitoring temperature of cases, coolers and storage areas and fix any failures.
• Following all company guidelines and procedures to include but not limited to safety and sanitation and preparation while cleaning including disassembling, washing, rinsing, and sanitizing all equipment within the work area.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal health and civil code regulations
• All other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Typical motions include repetitive hand and arm movements, repetitive grasping, lifting, bending, reaching and exposure to extreme temperatures (coolers, freezer, outdoors, etc.)
• Will be required to spend most of the time on his/her feet.
• Responsible for moving or lifting an average of 10-60 pounds
