Great Wolf Lodge in Concord, NC is seeking a Sales and Catering Coordinator to support clients and lodge sales teams, driving revenue and repeat business. The role requires hospitality experience, strong MS Office skills, and excellent communication.

  • Monitor room blocks and coordinate with property staff on group room pick-ups and lists.
  • Handle VIP in-suite packages and coordinate client appreciation events.

Job description

Location: 10175 Weddington Rd, CONCORD, NC, 28027 Pay: $19 per hour At Great Wolf the Sales and Catering Coordinator provides support to clients and Lodge sales teams to enable successful achievement of revenue, quality and repeat business targets.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Complete administrative tasks supporting all group sales efforts as assigned by the DOSC director of sales and catering including but not limited to: preparing sales kits, documenting prospective accounts, organizing files, preparing contracts, preparation of invoices, purchasing of office supplies and data entry
  • Complete Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and Resumes for clients and operations departments to communicate specific needs, contracted/agreed-upon details and pricing for the meeting, event or program
  • Enter accurate rooming lists, routing information, tax-exempt status and verification of payment in Company software systems
  • Monitor room blocks and communicate with appropriate property personnel on a weekly basis regarding group room pick-ups, rooming lists, etc.
  • Represent the lodge in investigating and resolving any group complaints or conflicts including, but not limited to: billing issues, misplaced items, reservations and contract discrepancies
  • Organizes and coordinates client appreciation and in-house lodge events
  • Provide detailed information on meeting-specific needs throughout the entire booking process from negotiation through departure
  • Attends pre and post conference meetings as needed
  • Handles all in-suite VIP packages and amenities as needed
  • Maintain Posting Master (PM) account ledger by keeping track of all open PM accounts
  • Assists Sales Team with any special projects.
Basic Qualifications & Skills
  • Associates degree in hotel/hospitality or related field or equivalent experience/education combination
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen
  • Professional communication skills both verbal and written

Estimated Salary Range:

Pay Rate: $ /hr An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of Great Wolf’s total compensation package. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and other perks.
