- Build and maintain productive relationships with retail buyers, store managers, budtenders, purchasing teams, and other decision-makers at licensed cannabis retailers.
- Prospect and open new retail accounts by identifying qualified opportunities, conducting in-person introductions, presenting the portfolio, and following through on next steps.
- Represent Golden Grail Group's retail, product, farm, and wholesale portfolio with a clear understanding of each brand's positioning, product formats, target consumer, and value to the retail partner.
- Conduct product knowledge sessions, budtender education, staff trainings, and approved in-store brand activations that strengthen product confidence and consumer awareness.
- Evaluate shelf presence and merchandising during store visits; support approved displays, menu accuracy, promotional materials, pricing communication, and brand standards.
- Monitor sell-through, menu placement, inventory levels, out-of-stocks, reorder timing, and account-specific opportunities; proactively recommend actions that improve velocity and retention.
- Present new products, promotions, samples, and sales programs in accordance with Company policy and applicable cannabis regulations.
- Manage account follow-up, pricing discussions, product availability, purchase orders, and order status communication with urgency and accuracy.
- Coordinate with Production and Distribution teams to align customer commitments with available inventory, fulfillment timelines, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of account contacts, visit notes, opportunities, orders, follow-up commitments, and territory activity in Company systems, including Distru, LeafLink, Excel, CRM tools, and other assigned platforms.
- Develop practical territory plans and weekly visit routes based on account potential, sales performance, geographic efficiency, launches, and business priorities.
- Track territory results and provide regular reporting on visits, placements, reorders, promotional execution, account feedback, competitive activity, and emerging market trends.
- Gather actionable feedback from retail partners and store teams regarding product performance, packaging, pricing, customer preferences, and competitive positioning, and share insights with internal stakeholders.
- Resolve account concerns professionally and coordinate internally on product, order, delivery, invoicing, or service issues through completion.
- Attend approved industry events, vendor days, trade events, Company meetings, and market activities as needed, including occasional evenings or weekends.
- Represent Golden Grail Group professionally and consistently while working independently in the field.
- Follow all Company policies and applicable OLCC, METRC, product-handling, transportation, marketing, sampling, and cannabis sales requirements.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned based on business and operational needs.
