Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Sales Auditor to ensure accurate daily sales information through audits of deposits, store paperwork, and computerized data. This role supports proper reconciliation of daily sales and cash receipts, journal entries, and month-end processing.

Key responsibilities include auditing store sales transactions, verifying data against source documents, and maintaining organized records.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily audits of store sales transactions, deposits and inventory transactions.
• Ensure accuracy of sales and deposit data by comparing entries and source documents.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work.
• Provide month end reconciliation for journal entries and account reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate accounting files in an organized and accurate manner.
• Communicate with stores, supervisors and leaders about reconciliation issues and resolutions.
• Analyze, research and resolve reconciliation issues.
• Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.

Position Overview:

The Sales Auditor is responsible for ensuring accurate sales information on a daily basis through research and analysis of deposits, store paperwork, and computerized data. This position is required to ensure proper reconciliation of daily sales and cash receipts, journal entries, account reconciliation and month end processing.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform daily audits of store sales transactions, deposits and inventory transactions.

Physical Requirements:
