Position Overview

Job Title: Sales Associate

Position Type: Part Time | Salary: $15.00 per hour | Shift: Day | Travel: Negligible

The Sales Associate supports GraceWorks Ministries’ goals, values, and philosophy by exhibiting excellence, quality service, commitment, and accountability. The performance includes demonstrating communication, teamwork, job knowledge, and leadership.

Position Summary

The Sales Associate will be responsible for completing a sale of donated goods, operating the cash register, organizing merchandise, assisting customers, and cleaning common areas.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Count money and place it in the cash register.
• Open store and operate cash register during store hours.
• Assist customers in their purchases and help select items that apply to their vouchers.
• Balance cash register, perform closing duties, and produce reports at the end of the day.
• Able to react to changes productively and handle all other essential tasks as assigned.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Dust, straighten, and stock merchandise as needed.
• Change prices with permission of the supervisor.
• Post sales on whiteboards.
• Clean dressing rooms.
• Perform assigned kitchen and work area clean‑up.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
