Role Objective
The Sales Associate aims to achieve store sales goals by embodying the Alo experience and Brand Mission. They create authentic, organic connections with guests through product education and sharing our community and culture. Expertise in product knowledge—features, benefits, fabric, usage, design, care—is essential. The role thrives on teamwork, feedback, and a culture of excellence.

  • Engage with customers, providing a friendly and inviting shopping experience.

  • Ensure effective sales floor coverage and lead selling initiatives as needed.
  • Stay informed on store goals, initiatives, product launches, and communicate these to the team.
  • Introduce all aspects of the Alo business model confidently through personal testimony and knowledge.
  • Utilize company tools and incentives to meet store objectives.
  • Resolve customer needs efficiently, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Educate guests and staff on our products, community, and culture.
  • Prioritize tasks based on the store’s business strategy in partnership with leadership.
  • Assist with shipment processing, visual merchandising, and product replenishment.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures in front and back of house operations.
  • Maintain constant movement around the store, performing various tasks to keep the environment clean, safe, and inviting.

Qualifications

  • Preferred 1+ years in a client-centric sales environment.
  • Strong passion for customer service and creating exceptional experiences.
  • Aligns with Alo’s Guiding Principles.
  • Self-motivated with results-driven attitude, team-oriented.
  • Ability to lift, push, carry up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing for long periods.

Schedule

Part-Time associates work up to 30 hours/week, with a minimum shift of 4 hours. Full-Time associates are expected to have open availability, 7 days a week, between 32-40 hours. All employees must be available during the holiday season, including Black Friday and the week of Thanksgiving.

The base pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00/hour in Beverly Hills, CA, with potential bonuses from the Monthly Store Incentive program. Additional rewards include clothing allowance, employee discounts, 401K, and more.
