Job summary

Dollar General stores are looking for a team member to act as the primary customer contact, assist with planogram execution and merchandise presentation, and maintain stock levels on the sales floor and back room.

The role involves greeting customers, handling cash, and supporting store operations to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction while safeguarding company assets. Must be able to unload trucks and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and receive unpacked merchandise.
• Store merchandise in stock room or move to sales floor.
• Build and maintain merchandise displays.
• Stock, rotate and face merchandise on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and total customer purchases.
• Collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
• Clean store areas and assist with curbside setup when needed.
