Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Associate to act as the point of contact for customers, help set and maintain plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, and maximize store profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting assets.

You will unload trucks, stock shelves, build displays, assist customers, and operate the register with a handheld scanner to complete transactions. This role supports teamwork and adherence to company policies within a fast-paced retail environment.

• Bail cardboard and take out trash; dust and mop floors; clean restrooms and stockroom.
• Greet customers.
• Operate cash register and flatbed scanner to itemize and total purchases; bag merchandise.
• Collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using hand-held scanners, as needed.
• Clean front end and assist with sidewalk displays.
